BUS 366 - Lean Production Management |
Lean Production Management Prerequisite: BUS 260 This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concept of managing production operations utilizing Lean principles. The course will cover the five pillars of Lean Production Management: Just-in-time, Total Quality Management, Worker Involvement, Value Added Management, and Time Based Competition. Tools and practices of Lean will be studied during the course including focused factories, cellular production, standardized work, visual management, continuous improvement (kaizen), and kanban inventory management.
