Mathematic Essentials Prerequisite: Placement at this level Review of algebraic concepts and skills from Elementary and Intermediate Algebra. Topics include (but are not limited to) operations on numbres and algebraic expressions, functions and their graphs, determining the zeros of a function. This course is designed to prepare students in both non-STEM and STEM disciplines for further study in mathematics. Use of a graphing calculator is required.
