Networking and Distributed Computing Prerequisite: CSC 270 and 251 This course specially focuses on the design, implementation, and analysis of communication networks. Topics included data communications technologies, TCP/IP protocol suite, Media Access Control, Multiple access protocol, Virtual Local Area Networks, Multiprotocol Label Switching, IPv4 and IPv6, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Network Address Resolution, routing algorithms, flow control and congestion control, DNS, software defined network, socket programming, sensor networks, and IoT.
