ART 328 - Printing for Textiles
Printing for Textiles
Prerequisites: ART 124, and Art 202

Students will explore both historical and contemporary printmaking methods as they relate to textile pattern design processes. Throughout the course of the semester students will learn various techniques in printing on textiles, utilizing stencils, batiking, wax resists, dyes, relief printing and silk-screening. An emphasis on personal artistic expressions is highly encouraged while gaining a strong technical foundation in non-toxic methods of printing,
