ART 353 - Installation Art |
Installation Art Prereq: Art Portfolio or Permission of Instructor This course will introduce the practice as well as historical and contemporary aspects of installation art. Through studio practice, discussions, critical analysis and critiques, students will discover how to create a tangible artistic experience by activating a space or environment. Students will be encouraged to explore their own ideas and interests through assignments designed for broad and individualized interpretation of the concept of installation. 3.000 Credit hours 6.000 Other hours Levels: Undergraduate Schedule Types: Studio (6 Hours) Art and Art History Department Prerequisites: Prerequisite ART 353 General Requirements: SART 1 May not be taken concurrently. |
