Virology With Laboratory Prerequisite: BIO 120, 140, 230 & 240; Each course must have been completed with a final grade of C- or better. NOTE: There is a $50.00 lab fee for this course. A study of viruses of vertebrates, invertebrates, bacteria, and plants. Classification, biochemical and biophysical characterization, and life cycles are covered. Major emphasis will be placed on those viruses of medical importance to human.
