Survey of human resource management expertise areas including the role of human resources management in organizations, basic functions such as recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management, compensation and benefits, risk management, diversity management, ethics, and human resource strategy. Emphasis placed on gaining a breadth of knowledge about the human resource function in modern organizations.
