CSC 203 - Adv Programming/Data Science
Advanced Programming for Data Science
Prerequisite: CSC 202 or 210

This course covers the concepts of object-oriented programming, data manipulations, and data visualization that are commonly used in data science applications, using modern scripting and programming languages such as Python, R, and Java. This course introduces students to fundamental object-oriented programming concepts, such as classes and inheritance; software design considerations such as exception handling; and theoretical and applied frameworks used for data storage, manipulation, and visualization.
