Prerequisite: Admission to ECE certification program and student teaching. Must be LAC student with at least two Tier II courses or GER student

Examines assessment strategies in early childhood education. Facilitates the development of a portfolio as a documentation of teachers' professional growth. Emphasizes portfolio assessment of children's development. Explores to formative and summative program evaluation.
