ECE 440 - Play And Development
Play And Development
Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program

Examines the development of play in young children and its contributions to learning, social competence and mental health. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of the adult in facilitating play. Cultural, gender and developmental diversity in children's play will be considered. Field experience required.
