Early Literacy Development, Pedagogy and Assessment
Prerequisites: None

An advanced stuy of emergent and early literacy development with a focus on cultural, linguistic and ability diversity. Emphasis is on preschool-kindergarten areas of literacy development and emergent and early reading/writing in grades K-3. Pre-K to Grade 3 literacy development, pedagogy, environments, and assessment will be explored. Emphais is placed on research-based practices that best support the development of proficient readers and writers.
