Money And Banking Prerequisites: ECO 200 and ECO 201 Examination of the financial, monetary, and the banking system and their relation to the economy using economic theory and data analysis. Students will gain an understanding of the nature and functions of money, be able to analyze the operation of the commercial banking system and the role of the Federal Reserve System, and assess contemporary monetary policy.
