Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education Program
Successful completion of EDU 301

An introductory course in language acquisition and strategies. The course will examine the complex role that classroom teachers play in the development of English Language Learners across affective and cognitive domains. Theories of second language acquisition and research-based practices in the field will be applied with special emphasis on the candidate's program area.
