Content Area Reading and Writing
An overview of the reading and writing processes as they pertain to student learning within the content area classroom. Specific strategies to meet the reading and writing needs of middle and secondary school students with diverse backgrounds will be explored. Field work required for graduates involves working with individually selected students.
