Strategies for Content Instruction to English Learners Prerequisites: None This course is designed to support advanced candidates with skill development through an applied field experience with English Learners (ELs) framed by practical online components. The course will examine classroom teacher's role in the development of English Learners from across affective and cognitive domains. Strategies for scaffolding second language acquisition and research-based practices will be investigated with special emphasis on Sheltered Instruction at the candidate's program level (e.g. elementary, secondary content areas.)
