EDU 668 - Read Write with Expo Texts
Teaching Reading and Writing with Expository Texts
Prerequisite: None
This is a graduate level seminar specifically designed to address the Reading for Information and Writing Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts. It is open to elementary and secondary certified teachers in all content areas. The course will provide an overview of the characters of diverse expository text in print and electronic formats. It will include strategies to teach techniques, and evidence based instructional routines. It will also explore effective and evidence based strategies to develop and cultivate student expository writing across content areas.
