Practicum in Local Agencies Prerequisite: Admission to Graduate School and Program Coordinator permission required. This course is designed to fulfill the special education endorsement requirements issued by the Connecticut State Department of Education. The practicum offers advanced teacher candidates the opportunity to work closely with an individual with a disability(-ies) in a local agency setting. Candidates will experience partnerships with service provider(s) with the community and demonstrate their knowledge of special education and methods for supporting education and methods for supporting individuals with disabilities and their families in school and community environments. 1.500 Credit hours 1.500 Other hours Levels: Graduate Schedule Types: Education Student Per Credit, Independent Study Education Department Restrictions: May not be enrolled in one of the following Programs: Nonmatriculated Graduate May not be enrolled in one of the following Levels: Undergraduate Non Credit Must be enrolled in one of the following Classifications: Graduate |
