EES 444 - Geospatial Apps Remote Sensing
Geospatial Applications Using Remote Sensing
Prerequisite: EES 340 or Instructor consent

Please note that there is a $50 lab fee on this course. This course will be a capstone experience building on previous knowledge of a geographic information system by further applying knowledge attained in other math and physical science courses (environmental earth science, physics, chemistry, biology, statistics, etc.). Students will learn the art and science of remote sensing and apply new knowledge to address an environmental problem of their choice using ERDAS Imagine and ArcGIS. Each student will complete a semester long project which is prepared as a paper and presented orally as a poster.
