Cultures from the French-Speaking world Prerequisite: None Through the study of various written and visual artifacts, a novel, the viewing of (excerpts of) films, and a special project as a Learnign Community, you will actively learn (and teach) about the various cultures of the French-speaking world. We will tackle issues such as colonialism, post-colonialism, racism, and feminism. You will sharpen your critical skills in textual, visual, and filmic analysis, while gaining a global perspective of historical, cultural, and religious issues that reach beyond the Francophone world.
