Foundations of Health Sciences Prerequisites: None Foundations of Health Sciences introduces students to a variety of health topics. It will provide an overview of issues central to health, including health care systems, regulations and policies, and ethics in healthcare, create awareness of the career possibilities, educational programs and licensing requirements, and expose students to health professionals. As a foundation for future courses in health sciences, this course will introduce students to the scientific method and develop skills in analysis, evaluation, and critical thinking.
