Prerequisites: Completion of T1M requirement

Introduction to concepts and techniques for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from data. Emphasis placed on concepts used in educational measurement and educational research. Course topics selected from exploratory data analysis, correlation and regression, probability and statistical inference. Data-based projects related to each of the four concentrations within the Liberal Studies major are integral to the course and require use of statistical/spreadheet software or graphing calculators.
