MUS 301 - Music Recording Techniques
Music Recording Techniques
Prerequisite: MUS 250 or THE 281 or THE 283

Students will learn the components of the modern studio, including cable/connection types and recording studio hardware,as well as aspects of the microphone, microphone types, and approaches for recording common acoustic sources.This course will use ProTools and will cover advanced recording approaches such as punch-in, loop, and multi-take recording and culminate in a fully recorded project produced by the student.
