PSY 306 - Cognitive Psychology
Cognitive Psychology
Prerequisite: At least six hours of Psychology above 100 level.

This course is an introduction to the scientific study of human cognition. Cognition is a broad term referring to the many types of information processing which the brain/mind accomplishes. Course topics include an introduction to cognitive psychology, sensation and perception, attention, memory, language, problem solving, reasoning, and decision making.
