Professional Development in Psychology Prerequisite: PSY 101, Minimum of 60 credits completed or in progress and psychology major or minor, or permission of instructor. The aim of the class is to help upper level students clarify career goals in psychology and prepare to apply for graduate school or professional jobs. Topics covered will include: making realistic career goals, how to apply to graduate school, how to find and apply for professional jobs in psychology-related fields, writing vitaes and resumes, interview skills, leadership skills and conflict management in the workplace.
