PSY 496 - Psych Intern:Group Supervision
Psychology Internship: Group Supervision
Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor

An experiential learning course where students participate in an internship at a social service setting such as a hospital, clinic, human service agency, group home, school counseling office, corrections site, or specialized classroom. The student acquires knowledge regarding methods of intervention and the treatment philosophy of the placement agency by participating in an observational and supportive role. Students participate on site for a minimum of 8 hours per week. On-campus supervision addresses ethical issues, including confidentiality.
