Multicultur & Diverse Lit. for Children & Young Adults This course examines issues and trends found in multicultural and diverse literature for children and adolescents. The focus is identifying and integrating into the curriculum a wide range of fiction and nonfiction books and texts that affirm the identities of all peoples with an emphasis on books as windows, mirrors for peoples from all cultures, religions, societies and genders.
