SOC 200 - Sociological Social Psychology
Sociological Social Psychology
Prerequisite: None

Examines theories of sociological social psychology, such as Symbolic Interaction, social structure and personality, and group dynamics. Looks at the social psychology of such areas as stratification, self and identity, deviance, mental illness, emotions, group dynamics, and collective behavior. Views the influence of social structure on micro-sociological processes. Explores how sociological social psychology is different from both macro-sociology and psychology.
