SOC 351 - Statistics For Social Research
Statistics For Social Research
Prerequisites: SOC 100, 350 and MAT 130, 135, 139, or 243 or consent of instructor.

Please note: Open to Sociology and Criminology Majors only or with consent of instructor.

Focus on descriptive and inferential statistics used in sociology, social work and anthropology. Sampling procedures are explored. Non-parametric statistics are considered. Students are introduced to the statistical package SPSS.
