Pattern Making Prerequisite: None NOTE: There is a $50.00 fee for this course. This course is designed as an introduction to basic manual. and computerized flat pattern principles and techniques. This course introduces principles of pattern design through the manipulation of black patterns and draping fabric directly on the body form. Course emphasis is on the relationship between two and three-dimensional shapes and the interpretation of design concepts into patterns. Students will learn the processes used to develop a first sample and create design prototypes for both style and fit evaluation.
