Introduction To Art History: 1400 To The Present Prerequisite: None This course surveys the development of art form 1600 to today, from a multicultural perspective. We will explore the subject matter and visual characteristics (style) of arts works and the social/historical context in which the works were produced in order to understand their meanings. Emphasis will be place on the arts of painting, sculpture, and architecture, but other art forms will be examined as well.
