Geology of Natural Resources

Geology is the science that pursues an understanding of the Earth, including the materials that make it up and the processes by which they form. This course uses basic physical geological principles to understand the origin, distribution, and use of the Earth's natural resources both now and into the future. These resources include metal and mineral deposits, energy, soil, rocks, and water.
