Introduction to Rhetorical Criticism
Prerequisite: ENG 100 or 100P

This course provides an introduction to some major theoretical and methodological approaches to the critical analysis of a variety of rhetorical artifacts (verbal, visual, spatial, etc.) Participants in the class will explore how humans use symbolic communication to construct arguments, create and communicate ideas, and influence others.
