Introduction to Diction for Singers Instructor Permission Required Co-requisite: MSU 356 or MUS 456 This course will focus on a study of phonetics as it applies to the primary singin languages of Italian, French, German and English. Students will become familiar with the International Phonetic Alphabet as an essential diction tool for singers at all levels of development. Skills will be assessed through written exercises and the graded performance of assigned repertoire.
